There is usually sufficient parking in the parking lots surrounding Mitchell Hall or on the street. Once you have parked, please check in at the customer service desk upon arrival, where you will receive directions to your cooking class. You will be standing and cooking for long periods of time, so please wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair, make sure it is pulled back. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are a safety hazard and will not be permitted in any Columbus State kitchens.

Please do! Practice makes perfect and using the tools you would use at home will help you become more comfortable in the kitchen. If you don’t have your own, don’t worry. We have plenty of tools to make you feel like you’re a professional.
